Strong Women - Grip Strength Challenge

We've been running an ongoing contest on Athletic Women Magazine that measures grip strength using a basic hand dynamometer. It's interesting to note that some of the participants that look strong have not posted numbers that match the visual; yet others that appear average have far exceeded what one might expect.

At this point one thing is clear - +Shayla Turcotte is an absolute beast. This is one strong woman and to date, no one else is even close to her lofty numbers. On the day she did the test, she stated that she was below her peak strength level. Hopefully one day we will have a repeat performance with Shayla at her best.
